Kota city, an educational city of state Rajasthan.Kota city is located about 240km south of Rajasthan state capital Jaipur, on the bank of Chambal River.
History of Kota city is dates back to the 12th century A.D., historically connected with Bundi. The ruler of Bundi, The Rao Ratan Singh handed over the principality of Kota to his son Madho Singh. Since then Kota is known to be a collection of Rajput gallantry and culture. In 1624 Emperor Jahangir, separated both and made Kota an independent city. After independence Kota became a part of Rajasthan State.
