The environment of Sariska is made up of hills and narrow valleys of the Aravalli hill range. The most beautiful attraction tourist’s destination is Sariska Tiger Reserve Park. Some of the wildlife found in the Sariska Tiger Reserve includes the Bengal tiger, leopard jungle cat, hyena, jackal, chital, sambar, caracal, langur, wild boar, four-horned deer (chowsingha) and several species of birds. The area also has chronological monuments linked with the Maharajas of Alwar such as The Sariska Palace which was the royal hunting resort of the previous Maharaja of Alwar state Jai Singh. The best time to visit the Sariska and its park is from September to March. It is an excellent tiger house where we can observe almost all kinds of tiger along with other animals.
There are many places to see or visit in Sariska. The highways are well linked by road, train and many other ways. So for long distance journey you can book your personal car, taxi or a jeep to make journey private and easy. For short journey you can travel by auto and cycle rickshaw. Some portion of Sariska can bee seen on foot. These all vehicles are found all over the city and you feel better to travel in them. In lakes there are boats too to visit the lake in very affordable cost. |
