Amber Fort situated in Amber city around 11 km from city of Jaipur in Indian State of Rajasthan is recognized for its exclusive creative style, combination of both Hindu and Muslim architecture, and its complex, magnificent and imaginative mastery. The fort is surrounded by the Maota Lake which is the main tourist destination in Rajasthan. The building of the Amber Fort started in year 1592 by Man Singh I, but was completed by his successor Jai Singh I. The outside structure of fort is very impressive and rough while the inside is soothing with warm interior which is inclined to both Hindu and Muslim style of enhancements.

Amber Fort is one of the important forts of the city and one of the major attractions of Jaipur. One of the most striking parts of the fort is the Hall of Mirrors, Kali temple and Sheesh Mahal which is also a tourist destination. Tourists can spot the skyline of city of Jaipur, Maotha Lake, and the ancient city walls. The fort can be visited with a guide or alone. Tourists can ride in elephant up to the top hill of Amber fort which is quite interesting and fun.

Amber fort has sound connectivity to air, rail and bus. It is connected to railways which is the cheapest option to reach fort. An exceptional bus service from Jaipur to Delhi runs by Rajasthan State service every half an hour from both sides. Car is the easiest way of traveling from Delhi. The trip by car from Delhi to Jaipur completes in less than 4 hrs. Auto rickshaw is the most excellent way for trip around the city. Cycle-rickshaws are inexpensive, but can take a lot of time. Taxis in Jaipur are very handy and easy to use.
