Mehrangarh Fort is located in Jodhpur city in Rajasthan state. It is one of the biggest forts in India .The fort is located on a height of 400 feet above the city and is bordered by impressive thick walls. Initially named the Chintamani fort is constructed in 1459 by Jodhpur’s founding father, Rao Jodha. It must have been very intimidating to the invaders and this is a very safe fort.
