Palace of Padmini is built beside the lotus pool with a historical pavilion which changes the history of Chittor. A thing of beauty is a joy for ever and they don't say this for nothing .Chittaurgarh is the essence of Rajput pride, legend and courage. It has a long history of great courage and sacrifice, which is obvious as it is filled with the stories sung by the Bards of Rajasthan. Actually we can say that this palace is made in the memory of Rani Padmini by Ala-ud-din king. This Palace is very interesting to see because it has very exciting story which feel good to know with suspense.
The main reason for visiting Chittaurgarh is its enormous hilltop fort, which is a representation of Rajput culture and values. The fort stands on a 240-hectares site on a 180m high hill that rises rapidly from the plains below. This Palace is full of exciting stories. But the time keeps on changing therefore some palaces are changed into luxury hotels for tourists. And some of the Palaces are changed into town and beautiful places. The places reflect Rajput tradition culture which attracts tourist’s as it is one of the major tourist’s destinations in Rajasthan.
Palace of Padmini is tourist’s destination which is well connected by highways and railways. All tourists can travel around the city without any problem. There are different means of transportation like car taxi local as well tourist’s bus train and rickshaws. Booked taxi or car is good comfort to use but it is double expensive compare to rickshaw and local bus but quite suitable for long distance journey. As compared to other transportation short distance auto rickshaws are better but the problem is you have to bargain with the drivers. It is not a big problem to face because it happens everywhere. |
